March 4 (Bloomberg) — Linda Douglass, a White House spokeswoman for health care, talks with Bloombergs Mark Crumpton and Julie Hyman about how legislation overhauling the U.S. health-care system would address increases in health-insurance rates.

Discussion and vote at the Bloomfield BOE meeting on 6/17/08 regarding the health insurance broker. Issues were raised about the qualifications of one of the insurance brokers, Fairview Associates. Issues were also raised about the propriety of campaign contributions of Fairview to some board members. Fairview was selected by a vote of 5-4.
